Being found is only the first step
The journey has three stages: an assistant finds your business, a customer understands your offer, and they can contact you or book. A gap at any stage can cost an opportunity. Record several relevant questions and use the results to identify patterns worth investigating.
Five checks to identify your next improvements
- Is your offer clear? Explain your services, locations, inclusions and restrictions. State what depends on dates or party size.
- Do your details agree? Check business names, contact information and services across your website and relevant profiles.
- Is the information accessible? Check that useful pages are accessible and structured data matches what customers can read.
- Can a customer take the next step? Walk through the enquiry or booking journey. Availability, the total price and booking conditions should be understandable.
- What does each test prove? Keep a record of the assistant, access level, question, date and result, together with completed and planned checks.
What does Muse change for travel businesses?
Meta presents Muse as an agent that can perform tasks on the web, including travel tasks. Check the booking path used by your own business; availability varies between providers and systems. Meta’s Muse announcement.
Evaluate discovery, booking and payment as separate steps so you can see exactly where work is needed. Stripe’s Muse and Link announcement.
Want help turning these checks into action?
Our AI visibility audit reviews one website and one customer journey, then explains what to improve first. Request a proposal setting out the checks, deliverables and fee. Direct Muse testing, where feasible, is identified separately from public-website checks.
